Weft-knitted fabrics

Physiological and thermoregulatory knitted fabrics

The functional knitted fabrics manufactured by us ensure immediate drawing excessive moisture from a body into the whole area of knitted fabrics and to other layers of clothes (physiological) or even excellent thermal insulation and user comfort (thermoregulatory).

We manufacture physiological knitted fabrics mostly from branded high-tech Coolmax and ThermoCool fibres. Those special fibres are shaped during manufacturing into multi-lobar transverse profiles, thanks to which the fibres have several times larger surface area, by means of which they achieve an ideal transport of excessive moisture.

For production of thermoregulatory knitted fabrics we usually use a special fibre called ThermoLite. The technology of hollow fibre provides the best insulation properties. The micro-structure of hollow fibres contains air heated by body temperature and thus it provides excellent thermoregulation at very low surface mass of knitted wear.

We are able to manufacture this type of knitted fabrics in surface masses from 90 gr/m².

Antistatic knitted fabrics

They represent a specific type of knitted fabrics, the main function of which is elimination of electrostatic discharge providing protection to electrostatic-sensitive components. Those knitted fabrics use to be referred to using the abbreviation ESD.

The function of antistatic knitted fabrics lies in the fact that they can take electrostatic discharge away from body, and thus it prevents occurrence of discharge and electrostatic field. Thus it also prevents damage to electronic components. Such protection is provided thanks to carbon or metal fibre that is knitted in form of a regular stripe.

Fields of application: Protective working clothes (microelectronics, pharmacy, health care, food processing)

Our standards

  • CSN EN 13 688 (CSN EN 340)
  • CSN EN 61340-5-1
  • CSN EN 1149 – (1-5)

We manufacture antistatic knitted fabrics in surface masses from 150 gr/m².

To substantiate efficiency of antistatic knitted fabrics we use our own accredited laboratory.

Antibacterial knitted fabrics

They are knitted fabrics eliminating growth of micro-organisms causing infections and bad smells due to an antibacterial material based on silver.

Our knitted fabrics are permanently antibacterial - ions of silver are firmly anchored in the fibre (polyester, polypropylene) - and surface-treated thanks to which they provide stability in washing cycles (cotton, polyester etc.)

The function of antibacterial knitted fabrics lies in the fact that after a direct contact of a bacterium with an antibacterial agent - silver - damages the cellular membrane and disrupts synthesis of the cellular wall causing death of the bacterial cell.

Structure of knitted fabrics

  • Single-face, terry, elastic
  • Double face
  • Interlock

Fields of application

  • Sportswear
  • Underwear

We manufacture those knitted fabrics in surface masses from 100 gr/m².

Non-flammable and fire-resistant knitted fabrics

They belong among special knitted fabrics with very strict parameters of the requirements stipulated by the respective standards. Our portfolio includes various modifications of non-flammable and fire-resistant knitted fabrics, whereas all the non-flammable and fire-resistant knitted fabrics are permanent (i.e. we do not use non-flammable surface treatment of knitted fabrics).

Fields of application: Personal protective clothes

Our significant and regular customers, who have excellent experience with our non-flammable and fire-resistant knitted fabrics, include the Fire Rescue Forces of the Czech Republic, the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, and the Police of the Czech Republic.

The breaking news in this group of products is the knitted fabric that meets the conditions according to the non-flammability standards; in addition to that, it is certified in accordance with CSN EN ISO 20471 – High visibility clothing. The knitted fabric is available in yellow reflex colour.

Standards

  • CSN EN 13 688 (CSN EN 340)
  • CSN EN ISO 11 612

We manufacture non-flammable and fire-resistant knitted fabrics in surface masses from 170 gr/m².

Knitted fabrics with high visibility

Knitted fabrics with special adjustment with high-visible colours (reflex yellow and reflex orange) providing high visibility of their users. The clothes made of such knitted fabrics use to be supplemented with retro-reflex stripes.

Fields of application: Protective working clothes (construction industry, transport infrastructure etc.).

A great virtue of that group of products is the fact that we are able to provide our customer with a multi-purpose knitted fabric that meets the requirements for clothes with high visibility, in addition to that they may be antistatic, physiological or thermoregulatory.
