ILAC-MRA

The Laboratory has been accredited by the Czech Accreditation Institute in accordance with CSN EN ISO/ IEC 17025 and it is authorized to use the combined mark ILAC MRA that also allows recognition of test protocols abroad.

The Accredited Test Laboratory is objective, unbiased and independent. It complies with the requirements both for professional qualification and for the management system necessary for provision of technically valid test results.

As one of the first accredited test laboratories in the Czech Republic it carries out testing of natural and chemical fibres qualities, useful properties in products, i.e. tests of textile materials, fibres, threads, knitted fabrics, cloths and non-woven textiles. It tests the materials for health care, clothing materials for the integrated emergency system, covering materials for furniture upholstery and car industry, technical textiles, functional materials for various types of sports and leisure activities. The test laboratory can provide running tests based on customers individual requirements for monitoring of quality of manufacturing and processing of commercial offers. The test results may be used as bases for certification of products, for competitive tendering of various projects and handling of complaints.

We carry out tests as individual orders or based on an annual contracts providing certain discounts. It is possible to agree the delivery times of accredited and non-accredited results individually.

Physico-mechanical Laboratory

The physico-mechanical laboratory is equipped with instrumental technology for performance of standard tests in accordance with the respective standards. Special-purpose instruments provide above-standard analyses and evaluations of textile products. The respective results are processed by information technologies which efficiently prevent losses of any data or their misuse. The laboratory provides facilities for testing of both textile materials (synthetic and cellulose) and semi-products of spinning, threads (yarns, threads from continuous filament, cords, strings, and ropes), plane figures (cloths, knitted materials, belts, straps, non-woven textiles, 3D knitted materials).

The test laboratory is equipped with a modern tensile machine with software equipment applicable up to 10 kN, which allows measuring of both common strength characteristics and tests in tearing and special testing of elasticity of textiles, cyclic straining, breaking strain of non-woven textiles and tensile properties of seams.

Chemical Laboratory

The chemical laboratory carries out qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses, material-based composition of fibres, yarns, underlying fabrics, determination of health attestation (colour-fastness in water, abrasion, seat, pH of aqueous infusion, and content of free and hydrolysable formaldehyde). Among others, it tests colour-fastness in washing, sea water, chemical cleaning and resistance to impacts of sweat and saliva.

Electrostatic Laboratory

The electrostatic laboratory is equipped with special instruments for measuring of electric and electrostatic quantities of textile materials, underlying textiles and textile products at standardized relative moistness (part of the requirements of subject standards for protective clothes and clothes suitable for EPA areas). It covers gauging of measuring surface drag, internal drag, triboelectric charging, resistance among points and measuring of charge drop (textiles with conductive fibres of materials with antistatic surface treatment).
